Cabanga TV is live: watch Mozambique crack open its cashews

October 17, 2026

A $20 billion gas project, a growing Maputo Port, a tourism boom and the Mauritius tourism model are among the stories now free to watch.

MAPUTO, 17 October 2026 – Mozambique is cracking open its own cashews to boost its economy. The cashew story, from AFP, is one of the Mozambican and Mauritian programmes that went live today on Cabanga TV, the streaming service for African business, at tv.cabanga.africa.

It sits beside TotalEnergies relaunching its $20 billion Mozambique gas project, and Maputo Port’s investment in infrastructure and capacity. An advisor to Mozambique’s tourism minister explains the 34 per cent rise in tourists that followed the visa exemption, and from Mauritius, CNBC Africa shows how an island built an economy around its visitors.

Cabanga TV holds more than 10,000 programmes on African business and economics, set out in 9 Business Channels and 36 Business Desks: Economics, Money, Consumers, Intellectual, Property, Farming, Profiles, Lifestyle and Bookshelf. Every programme is free to watch, with no subscription and no sign-up, on a phone or a computer.

Hleketa Magazine readers will find these and more programmes from Mozambique and Mauritius on the Countries page at tv.cabanga.africa/countries, beside the rest of the continent.

Viewers can search the whole library, open the Countries page to see one market’s programmes at a time, and build a watch list that plays programmes back to back. Every programme carries the name of the channel that made it, with a link to the original. New programmes land every week.
